Secured Diamond Rated: Hiplok DX

A new class of bicycle locks has entered the bicycle security market. Sold Secure, the independent organization that tests and grades locks, has added Diamond to its existing Gold, Silver and Bronze ratings. Locks are classified according to their ability to resist a thief’s attacks.

Guy McCafferey, head of the Sold Secure Lab, said bikelockwiki.com: “Sold Secure Diamond products offer resistance to attacks against a higher comprehensive list of tools (aimed at preventing the most motivated attacks)”. For comparison, the Sold Secure Gold rating offers: “theft resistance against a higher list of selected tools (aimed at preventing dedicated attacks)”.

At 1098g, the Hiplok DX is one of the lightest bike locks and its distinctive ‘clip driving system’ makes it easier to carry than an average lock.

  • Double dead lock
  • Anti-rotation lock
  • Premium 14mm hardened steel shackle
  • Patented Clip + Ride system
  • Diamond sold safely
  • 3 coded replaceable keys
  • Weight: 1098g
