Over 10 outdoor training classes and clubs to get you in shape this summer


Summer has rolled over Denver and everyone is eager to get their bodies moving. We at Review 303 have created a roundup to help you change up your workout routines with local outdoor fitness programs to improve your fitness game, from Brunch Runs to Yoga on the Rocks.

The truth : Exercise while taking in the views on a sunset paddle at Sloan Lake. The 1.5-hour session will take you on a scenic loop around the iconic lake on paddleboards (equipment included). Taking place on Fridays, it’s a great way to relax while still being active.

Alpine Dog Brewery Racing Club

The truth : Meet other people for a 5k run around Cheesman Park, followed by beers at the Alpine Dog Brewing Company with the Alpine Dog Brewery Run Club. Runners will get $ 1 off beers after they sweat.

The truth : The bRUNch Running Club is running a 5 mile run and a six mile run option around Denver. The running club also offers coffee races, a miles + mimosas pop-up and more.

Fit & Rock

The truth : Witness your fitness at Fit & Rock. Dairy Block is back with its annual hour-long workout series with The FIIT Co. The class combines a HIIT session with a fun playlist.

Balanced infusions

The truth : Let out some tension and later drink into a cold beer at Balanced Brews. You can stretch out during a yoga session led by Tara Clark of Mountain Lily Studios and cool off with a drink afterwards. Make sure to bring a mat, water, and a mask.

The truth : Stretch out with the help of the instructors at Sound Off Colorado during a Pop Up in the Park. Sound Off Colorado features yoga session with LED wireless headphones beats from a DJ for a workout with vibrations.

Halcyon summer wellness series

The truth : Take a deep breath and end your Monday on a high note at the Halcyon Summer Wellness Series. The series kicks off in summer with a yoga and fitness happy hour on Halcyon’s rooftop terrace. You can practice while watching a sunset and have a drink to cool off after. The course is led by an instructor from TruFusion.

SoulCycle outdoors

The Lowdown: Civic Center MOVES offers free fitness classes. Currently, Civic Center Moves has a fitness group every Wednesday with a full day of conditioning for a sweaty workout.

Colorado Virtual Distance Challenge

The truth : Brewery Running Series hosts a series of virtual Colorado distances. You can participate by running, walking or even riding a bike to raise money for a good cause. Throughout the series, you can save your miles and earn rewards.

WeCAN Racing Club at Seedstock Brewery
